Review on 🐱 Nutro Wholesome Essentials Indoor and Sensitive Digestion Dry Cat Food with Chicken: Optimal Nutrition for Indoor Cats by Ivani Domenech

Appears to be decent food. used it for about a year.

I have recently given up this food for my cats after using it mid last year. or last spring. I have 2 cats that have been eating this food for almost a year. Now I don't think there's anything wrong with the food. Both cats seem to have taken it very well. I have one cat that burps A LOT and the other almost never. This food didn't affect any of them in this way, meaning it didn't hurt or help an existing vomiting problem. I chose this food because it is one of the few dry cat foods that does not contain fish. No fish products, no fish by-products, no fish oil. This was important because I was trying to decipher one of my cat's allergy issues - we thought it might have something to do with fish. It is not. I recently switched her to a different dry food as I feel it has caused a problem in my other cat - not allergy but vomiting. My two cats are 8 years old and both have been with me for 6 weeks and about 3 months ago the hairdresser started severe dehydration issues (so bad we had to take him to the vet 3 times. lots of tests/meds/what you have) - with which he never had a problem before that meal. So I'm changing to be safe. For those who may be wondering. No, they don't just eat dry food. never have I leave kibble outside all day so they can eat in peace. I also give them wet food twice a day.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Requires an outlet
