Review on Lipper International 8865 Bamboo Serving by Ben Walls

Read reviews before buying. I treat reviews "with caution" and then, after reading them, decide whether to buy them or not. With 75% giving it a 5 star rating and 10% giving it a 4 star rating, I decided to buy 2 of these trays to replace the other non-wooden trays (which ended up falling apart) that I had for the most of 8 had to replace years. . These trays were the size I was looking for. Imagine my disappointment after opening the box (which was undamaged) to find both trays damaged. Both trays were wrapped in a thin, lightweight "protective film" (which ripped when removed). The upper shell had one long side detached from the shell, exposing nails at both ends. The second tray had a huge piece of wood along the top long edge of the tray. The trays were sent this way and I can't see why anyone would want to send them to the buyer in this condition. The trays were dispatched and sold by Revain. I am extremely disappointed.
