Wow this tester is amazing. It does a lot more than other GFCI testers but only costs a few dollars more. So there are too many important points to talk about. First, it's easier to use red light than green light, that's all. There is no combination of light to understand. 2 built in voltmeter which is pretty accurate compared to my buddy's meter. 3 It can relieve tension and prevent shock only in hot situations. Other GFCI testers do not warn you of a hot situation. Gfci tester works better. I noticed that gfci doesn't get disabled if it's bad. On a good gfci it not only disables the circuit but also displays the time it takes to disconnect. The display clearly shows what your wiring situation is, you don't have to guess. It's also worth noting that there are videos showing that if you connect this GFCI tester to a 12 amp hair dryer, you can also use this GFCI tester as a circuit tester. There are so many things to mention. Compare the prices and you will see that for $5 or $6 you get a much better and more capable GFCI tester. Definitely worth the money.
