PROS: We've bought several of these over the years and they do exactly what they say, charge your Micro USB devices up quickly and safely. In our experience at least 5 times faster than conventional chargers. We've never had any items overheat or become damaged (but be aware that they do get hotter than normal when charging with this device). I can also use them for apps that drain power faster than a regular charger can replace i.e. using Netflix on my Kindle uses so much power that even with a regular charger plugged in while watching TV the Kindle dies before it can be charged. the movie ends. With fast charging, Kindle increases battery life significantly, even when you're watching multiple movies in a row. Quality construction; Cables and cable connections are much stronger than traditional chargers/cables. However, there is a downside in terms of lifespan. CONS: The micro USB plug adapter (the metal end of the cable you plug into your device) is just as vulnerable/weak as any other charging cable adapter. It bends just as easily, breaks just as easily, detaches just as easily. At best, these chargers last about a year with daily use, not because the cord or brick fails, but because the metal adapter loosens or breaks over time. You would think that with a product so well made in every other way, the charging end would also be more durable/heavier than a standard cable, but that's not the case. Expect frequent exchanges of this item. All in all, even in the event of a possible failure, these chargers are the best choice and worth buying as they charge your devices safely and VERY quickly.
