i ordered 42 because i wear pants 40 well its a ratchet strap and the bead doesnt start about 4 inches from the top of the strap. On a typical strap, the holes start about 1 inch or less from the tip. Basically a size 42 is a size 38. So you basically have to order a size 46 if you want a size 42!
