The white parts of this sponge are so soft and fluffy that the sponge barely removes anything. Branded things are much denser. The only way to erase it is to press and rub hard. The white pieces crumble in my hands. I need 3 of these sponges to get the same cleaning performance with a magic branded eraser! The sponge itself also gets dirty very quickly because I keep pressing it into the dirt, whereas a real branded sponge can be cleaned with water and the dirt removed with minimal pressure. Just buy branded stuff, because storing 3 times more sponges is also inconvenient!
