First impressions are everything and I was very impressed with the packaging (kudos to everyone who chose the protective case). The speakers feel well built and have a decent weight in the hand. It's not too heavy, but not super light either. It's just the right weight to give a feeling of good build quality. When turned on, you'll be greeted by a clear voice (some of these Bluetooth speakers have a voice that speaks English, but with an accent you can't pinpoint). This puts the speakers in Bluetooth mode and ready to pair with your phone. It connects easily and gives you a nice, descriptive device name in your phone's Bluetooth menu. The speaker also has an FM radio function which is very handy and a bit of a bonus. All you have to do is press and hold the power button a little longer and it will go into FM radio mode. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to search for available radio stations within range. With no screen, it's a little awkward to find stations, but the audio is nice and clear. You won't know exactly what station you're receiving unless you say it over the air, but that doesn't matter. The AUX jack and micro SD card connector work exactly as expected, and the inclusion of a short 3.5mm cable is nice. These speakers also have a stereo mode, but I don't have two speakers so I couldn't test that. Based on other video reviews, it's easy to pair the speakers together and the sound quality works well with either speaker in this setup. All in all this is a really good speaker. The sound quality is very good, the subwoofers placed at the ends of the speaker give it some power and the fact that it's water resistant will make it a nice addition to the pool this summer. If I had to knock it, I'd say the sound is too directional. When you're not looking at the speaker, it sounds a little less rich, but it's actually quite good. I am very happy with this speaker and would definitely recommend it.
