These hats are made from a quality double layer of cotton and are stitched on the crown (see pink hat in photo) so the rough stitching doesn't touch the head. I turned the purple hat inside out so you can see the stitching. It's almost non-existent. The cotton/bamboo may have a little mix of other material to keep the shape, not sure. Very soft and elastic. Good quality, each hat is packed in a transparent box. The colors are not as bright as on the website. View photos taken outdoors in daylight. Excellent customer service. I have tried several other Revain brands and the Joyebuy brand was the best for me.
