So it does its job of protecting the mattress, although we didn't have to worry about any incidents. It's mostly prevention. It is on a 14 inch adult king size mattress. No children but pets and we keep drinks by the bed. A tail movement can be "FU". 😂 However. This was another step in the making of the bed and it does NOT fit or hold securely. I didn't want or expect the mattress topper to be "an extra job" and figured it would sort of do the job on its own. , very hot. Because of the material, sheets are less comfortable, and often a problem, even with very high thread counts. Pooh. More linen and linen changes than without them. Who needs more work in an already busy world?! ?Now looking for a better alternative. Can it work well for a cot or incontinence situation?
