Review on Hubsan X4 FPV Brushless H501S Standard Edition by Adam Libera ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent product, the best quality.

I took the version with a standard remotecomntrol. Then I put external antennas on the remote: and bought some more (for now they just lie there). I installed RHE firmware to increase the range - I flew up to 1000 m with it, 300 meters without it, then FPV was lost. I advise you to buy an additional battery for the remotecomntrol and for thecompter, for some reason they recommend HRB: (on World Shopping Day, 112022 they drop prices quite a bit, so it makes no sense to wait) because the battery charge lasts 2 , 5 hours! , and add. The battery in the remotecomntrol will help you avoid the situation when you are in the field with charged batteries and the remotecomntrol is empty. I myself took such a battery - it's normal, but it is slightly thinner and fits into thecompter easily. I myself chased for cheapness and bought a fake for original x3 batteries - with them thecompter flies for a maximum of 15 minutes, instead of 20/ The standard remotecomntrol is good: it sitscomfortably in your hands, there is a loop through which you can thread a string and hang it around your neck. The screen is larger on the standard remote than on the pro version. There are certain subtleties that you will have to dive into so as not to crash thecompter, and so that it does not fly away by itself in an unknown direction. ebay has a lot of offers with the sale ofcompters, if you have no experience - it's better to look at new ebay and check before buying. If you are going to take, look at the FB group:

Pros
  • - relatively inexpensive copter; - flight time ~ 20 minutes; - the camera shoots quite well, not counting the jelly effect (which may not be); - the presence of GPS, which will help a person without experience learn to fly; - you can buy video glasses or a helmet; - medium size, not too noisy.
Cons
  • By and large, for this price they are not. Here are just the little things: - when recording photos and videos, files are created with the date 01-01-1970, although the time could be taken from the GPS; - in some instances, up to 4 engines play. This results in varying degrees of jelly in the video; - no image stabilizer; - spare parts seem to be more expensive than DJI
