Bought these to replace the halogen lights in our RV. I was very concerned that they would be too white (those painful blue and white ones, like in a hospital). But despite being brighter and whiter than halogen, they were still warmer in color. Plus they are BRILLIANT! I bought these to reduce power consumption and extend battery life in our RV. BUT they are far from perfect. Halogen lamps were more stable. They do not "flicker", but dim when the battery is additionally loaded. The water pump turns on and those lights flicker and dim. On a ride when our battery died, those headlights actually went out while the only halogen I had left still worked. I believe they are voltage sensitive and when the battery dies their voltage drops. eventually reach a threshold where those lamps go out. I keep them because I know they use a lot less power than halogen bulbs and our battery lasts longer. And they are bright. maybe too bright. Wife wants a dimmer now. But I want them not to fade and not fall out.
