These boots are my 7th or 8th pair of Thorogood boots. Maybe my last. They are very difficult to lace and tie comfortably. The laces are stiff and need double knots. I had to take a screw driver to the lace hooks to bend them out in order to get the laces under them.I'm questioning the inside durability. My left foot pad has already compressed to the point of uselessness.This style of Thorogood is the first one that hurts my feet. Even after breaking them in.They twist oddly and bend at an awkward angle at my toes.I wear them for tractor work but not on days where I am going to be on my feet for hours.I am very disappointed and cannot recommend.
