Well, pros (which are important), it's a very adjustable and fairly consistent grind, which helps to make great espresso and cappuccino. The downsides are that it's very difficult not to spill and ruin the ground coffee. Also, it often stops grinding because the grains in the hopper somehow stop flowing into the grinding mechanism.
