Soft lace and velvet. The floor was elastic.
I wear a size 12-14 in dresses, closer to 12. I have a 34 in the waist, 46 in the hips and a 36C in bras. I am 5 feet 6 inches tall and weigh 179 pounds. I ordered size XL. It fit perfectly and the velvet stretched to hug my large thighs! I'm not giving it 5 stars just because after a day of wear, tiny holes form on the sides of the dress where the waist meets the lace. The dress didn't fit around my waist (yes, hips and legs, but not my waist) so I was surprised there were holes forming there. I have to sew it because this dress is too beautiful not to wear again! You get what you pay for but overall a very pretty dress!
