I always didn't know what gift to give to a friend who has cancer. What is suitable? What amenities? Encouraging? THEN I saw this blanket and knew it would be perfect for my friend who just had another cancer surgery. She just LOVES this blanket and is very grateful for it. When I ordered it for her, the quilt itself was packed in such a cute box with an adorable funny owl pattern, which really added to the attention of the gift. The blanket is SO soft and cozy making it perfect for those in treatment or convalescent. It was a great companion for my friend as she recovered from surgery and the message of courage and resilience was very uplifting to her. I love reminding her that she is a warrior for all she has overcome. While this is an uplifting gift for someone suffering from cancer or another illness, I think it would also make a great Christmas gift for my kids (shhh!) to remind them that they are loved and praying for them and managed to overcome some significant obstacles . also in her life. Recommend this blanket for its quality, its message, its relevance to the recipient and its absolutely amazing softness. His feel-good factor is easily 15 out of 10!
