Good light. It looks exactly like the $279 flashlight I wanted. Both have a beautiful solid polished marble base. Both have a sleek, modern look. Both sit in a corner and place the lamp directly above my reading chair. If I'm missing some quality in a $279 flashlight, I can't tell you what it is. The on/off switch is a bit fiddly, it's a large knob mounted in a circular housing on the power cord between the base and the outlet. However. I've used it with my Echo voice command and Philips Hue smart bulb.
