The problem with external storage locks is that the keys are the same from camper to camper. Your camping neighbor can open your storage compartment with his key. This lock has a different key than most others. i bought one It's easy to install. Driven two seasons without problems. Only the toggle switches were changed on the other locks as well. The replacement drum supplier supplies a key to remove existing drums and install new ones. Very, very easy to do. I bought lock tumblers from WWW.Uglyfish.com. There is a fish called "ugly fish". I'm in Florida (3/2013) enjoying 70 degree weather while my family is in snow country. Motorhome driving is great.
