A quick assembly & they provide the wrenches needed. The base is very stable for step ups with weights in hands. Leather padding. Folds up easily. Very sturdy bench. Doesn't roll or tilt if one is doing triceps on the side of the bench nor buck up if one is doing lower leg raises. I'm also a small 63" 119lbFemale & can manoeuvre this bench around very easily. This bench will definiely outlive me & my furniture.The owners responded quickly to any questions & concerns I might have had.
