Review on 🚴 LEZYNE Alloy Levers: Top-Quality Pair for Efficient Tire Removal by Sirious Cavalli

Lezyne products are generally great. I have four of their pumps (three small pumps in the saddlebag of each of my bikes, plus a floor pump) and a set of their plastic tire levers and they are all top notch. This is the first Lezyne product that I didn't like. They are well made and don't break. But they don't work very well, at least when the tire is flat. The levers are too thick, slick and small at the ends, making it difficult to get adequate grip when taking off stubborn tires (Continental Gatorskins in my case). As a result, the lever tends to slip out from under the bead when you try to remove the tire - I have a scratched rim and two scarred knuckles to prove it. I threw them in my tool box and will most likely never use them again.
