Bought in November 2019 I immediately started using one of these for daily phone charging. Everything worked very well initially, fast charging, solid cable, solid connection with charger and phone. Unfortunately, after 3-4 months of daily careful use (never pulled/pulled/dropped/etc.), the charging stopped - the micro-USB connector didn't maintain a proper connection (moving it around several times helped). The metal part looked bent. There is no other visible damage to the cable. Checked on other devices, same problem. Then I started using a different cable and now 3-4 months later I have EXACTLY the same problem. Luckily, Anker offers an 18-month warranty on these cables (hence the 3-star overall rating, otherwise I would have given it a 1-star). The process is very simple - I filled out an online form (you will need proof of purchase and a picture of the cables), received an automated email confirming the details and the next morning I received an email from the agent, in who said spare cables were on their way. Although the quoted delivery time was 7-10 business days due to current supply chain disruptions. In my experience, the micro-USB connector has always flexed and stopped charging long before other parts of the cable wore out. I would recommend buying from a supplier that offers an excellent replacement policy as none of the cables are reliable in terms of quality.
