As long-time Brother printer users, we appreciate this new feature: for the first time we can use 90lb duplex cards - just in time for Christmas. Our newest printer, the 6920, survived its 4 year 2 month extended warranty and then died. (Perfect seal for life, by the way). At the same time, we used the latest inks that we had in stock. So when we were looking for a new printer and saw that the 6930 was using different cartridges, it wasn't a big deal. We need a fresh supply of ink anyway. We make our own Christmas cards, and we always had to put a page in the manual feeder on the back, print side one, and then put the same piece of paper in the same slot. but in a different orientation so we can print on the other side of the card. This new auto-feed printer β I can put 20 pages of CARDstock in the rear feeder, press print and walk away. When I come back, all 20 cards are in the output tray, PRINTED ON BOTH SIDES! The print quality is still superb Brother quality and printing other things on Brother machines is still as amazing as ever (since the dot matrix days of years past). As long as you use Brother ink (Innobella is their trademark for your ink) you can't go wrong! If you choose another brand of ink the quality suffers very, very quickly. Now we just have to see if we can go with this one machine achieve the same lifespan as with others - I believe we can do it!
