Review on Ultimate Durability: Drizzte Military Nylon Plastic Buckle Men's Accessories by Oscar Thompson

I've worn military style belts for many years, the ones with a fabric belt and metal buckle. The buckles wear out on the belt over time and it starts to wear out and then it's time for a new belt. Also, because of the metal buckles, I always have to remove my belt when checking in at an airline's TSA. This plastic ribbon belt looked interesting enough to try. I've only had one day so can't comment on long wear issues but so far this is a winner. The belt is plastic webbing, not fabric, so hopefully it won't wear out. I find the buckle very interesting. After searching the internet and based on the numbers stamped on it, this is the buckle model YKK WB-DA2. The exact number on the buckle is WB38DA2, 38 is millimeters for 1.5 inches which is the width of the belt that can be used with it. YKK advertises the logo engraving on the buckle, so I think "Drizzte" ended up on this buckle. I'm wondering if it's possible to directly order the same no-logo buckles anywhere without having to buy the accompanying belt? If you completely undo the buckle from the belt (like I did), you can get confused about not putting it back on. The buckle consists of 3 parts, 2 wide flat parts (1 big, 2 small) and a third part in between. The part that attaches to the end of the belt is the smaller of the flat parts. The belt is clamped between these and the central part. For a long time I couldn't get it to work until I realized I was doing it wrong. The flat side of the smaller piece goes inward toward the pants. I tried laying the flat sides with both pieces facing out, wrong. I love this belt, hope it lasts a long time. Wear issues later I will amend this review. Update: 5+ months later. The belt and buckle are still in great condition, no signs of wear and I wear it every day. I really like this belt and I like the buckle even more. 2nd update @ 10 months later. Belt and buckle are in excellent condition. They now come in other colors besides black from other sources. I bought the brown and green ones which didn't have the brand logo on them as I have to settle for the black Drizzte.
