First of all, the biggest draw for me is that in these photos it "looked" like it was quite heavy metal and it was a silver color which was exactly the contrast I had wanted for my new dark desk for the home office. The arm itself is at least 1/16 inch thick metal, THICC! Of course, this makes the thing powerful and strong enough for the nominal weight of the monitor! In fact, the only plastic parts are the cable guides and the flange on the main clamp tube! Well, as far as ease of use goes, the range of motion is pretty big! Exactly what you and I would like, with a ridiculous 45Β° vertical tilt fore and aft, even on my sweet and heavy 27" Dell! The tube you use to adjust the height is quite unique, love it, and it gives you the ability to reach a comfortable standing height to look at the monitor. some oil to loosen it enough to adjust without two hands. I didn't deduct a star because I think it's an overbuilding issue. Therefore, I can warmly recommend this device. PS - This is a beautiful booth.
