I was very excited when I received Jen Swearington Printing on FabriC. I do painting and surface design as a part-time job and am always looking for new ideas for my projects. "Printing on fabric” describes the products they use in their projects very well and I've found a few to try in my shop. Swearington primarily uses dyes and inks, but I thoroughly enjoyed her instructions on aligning the templates to create larger continuous patterns on the fabric, as well as creating repeat patterns. , it is very appropriate. I consider myself almost an intermediate level surface designer and have found some very good inspiration.
