I had to pair after unboxing (I was afraid of DOA). The backlight is bright enough. I'm a little concerned that the button/function printing might wear off after a few months of use of the buttons, but they're pretty noticeable now. Air mouse DPI can be adjusted to move faster on screen (nice addon). Works with Nvidia Shield. I haven't tested IR yet. The microphone works with Google Assistant. All in all, it feels like a nice upgrade from my other remote, the WeChip W1 (the Z10 is bigger, a bit heavier, but more ergonomic). Update: The touchpad isn't the most responsive, it seems geared more toward adjusting the cursor as you type. as a full touchpad replacement (it makes sense to have an air mouse). What I find a bit odd is how the remote wakes up from sleep. Sometimes I have to press the button twice after sleeping for it to work; sometimes I don't need it. I'm still thinking about it.
