I had to pair after unboxing (I was afraid of DOA). The backlight is bright enough. I'm a little concerned that the button/function printing might wear off after a few months of use of the buttons, but they're pretty noticeable now. The only thing I deducted a star for is that the remote doesn't work 100% correctly with my Revain Firestick Cub (2nd expansion). Volume buttons and voice control do not work. I tried mapping them using the Remote Learning feature, but these buttons seemed to refuse to map properly to my Firestick Cub. I could assign any other button to control volume and voice input. The whole idea of this type of remote controls is one-hand operation, when we relax on the sofa and can operate the PC with one hand left and right mouse clicks are the most common operations , if we used a mouse, so it's too complicated and requires two fingers to press the touchpad? Badly designed! This requires 2 SELECTED buttons as with a conventional mouse. Even with 2 fingers pressed on the touchpad, the right click did NOT work for me at all!
