It seems to be drawing a lot of water! The humidity was around 65% and it was running for about an hour when I shot the video. I understand that I need to connect the hose. That's one thing that can't be done. It's pretty quiet too. At least it's quieter than the previous ones I've had. Cons: No hose included. It costs about $1 per foot at a hardware store. Anyone who has ever attached zippers for transport obviously has no idea what they do. It was around some kind of sticky substance that took me almost 10 minutes to get off. I also had to partially disassemble it to remove them without breaking anything. Leave it for about 24 hours before turning it on for the first time. It will likely be turned upside down during transportation. Before turning it on, you need to let the "juices” inside settle completely. This will greatly increase its lifespan.
