Not bundled as advertised

I have ordered two of these and first let me say that it is a lovely little fan and I will keep it for myself but. It didn't come with a remote as advertised, and it's not USB powered, it has an AC adapter and uses some sort of proprietary connector that connects to the fan. I also read something in the reviews about it being able to fog up, which it doesn't.
