Review on Partssquare 175 185 Electric Thermostat Temperature by Alfred Friedrich

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Don't follow the pattern. Read the instructions.

As some people have said, the pictures in the guide are completely insane. My buddy and I had to look up a relay diagram to figure out what the heck we were dealing with. Once we figured that out, the wiring was pretty easy. The circuit looks like it wants you to do one thing, but it's actually about the wire underneath. We plugged everything in, let the car run until the temp rose, and bam, the fan turned on and off as it should! On the other hand, it also means not to use adhesive tape! Complete lie. We didn't like the instructions telling us not to do it and you know what!?! It leaked. Took it apart and glued the threads like a normal person and it still worked fine. I had no problems with the supplied fittings. The larger fitting fit perfectly in the thermostat housing, and the temp sensor went in! Piece of the cake! Let's see if they survive the ones I bought from Horrid Zone.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Broken
