Review on Morelecs 6 by Kenny Donald

The cable did not work immediately. The connection on the 8" (smaller) pin didn't line up properly on any of my devices, causing odd phasing. I have a similar cable with 2 1/4" stereo plugs on one side and got this cable because I don't need a Y-splitter and would have preferred an 8-1/4" cable, but it didn't work . To verify that my setup is ok (audio from the computer is output to a small mixer and speakers), I reduced some variables and tested further, as well as other sources such as the headphone jack on my phone and the audio output on the tablet and other devices . All had the same problem: if I remove the smaller pin a bit the sound works (but the cable is loose) and the contact point of the ring on the Trs doesn't make good contact and defeats the purpose of buying this cable (removing noise from mine duct speakers) I may have gotten a lemon based on other reviews and I'll try to find a replacement and try this but if that doesn't work either I'll add that to this review and if it works I will i also update as well as a support reply i get. It's a completely useless cable right now, causing poor phasing and audio gurgling on every device I've tried, both balanced and unbalanced.
