I used to think about cutting out the tiles and putting an outlet under the coffee table to charge our phones and laptops when in use. I stumbled across this while also trying to raise our couch so our robot vacuum could clean underneath. Two birds with one stone. I received two sets and put one charging station in the middle of the section and one at the end. I routed the power cords under the sofa so they don't hang down and interfere with the vacuum cleaner. Flawless performance and convenience for us when we relax on the couch. If you have Ikea furniture with leg blocks, they are perfect.
