Review on Logitech Wireless Trackball M570 Renewed by Stanislaw Koluch ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Overall it's not bad, but I expected more.

I started using a trackball and now I can’t imagine how you can use a regular mouse. I remember that with a classic mouse, there are always red chafing at the bottom of the palm, and over the years, the hand began to hurt. With the trackball, it all went away in a week. Now I'm going to buy the next trackball model from Logitech, because there is not much choice. Expensive and I think that again two years is enough. Logitech actually has a monopoly on this type of mouse. But I do not want to switch to a regular mouse at all.

Pros
  • The hand does not strain, a minimum of movements. Wireless!
Cons
  • 1. After 2 years, the left button began to fail, double clicks occur. 2. It is necessary to clean the seat of the ball once a week or two. The protrusions on which it is located collect dirt and the ball begins to rotate unevenly (indicated in the photo) 3. If dirt gets into the hole with the optical element, you will have to suffer to clean it, and even some lint will affect the movement of the pointer.\ 4. The price is high for a mouse that has been working for 2 years (moreover, I used to have some kind of logitech mouse, the left button also turned off there)
