I bought this monitor because I needed a small monitor with an aspect ratio that would fit in an old Apple MacIntosh 512K case. I connected it to the Raspberry Pi. After removing the old CRT, motherboard, and drive, I was able to secure the monitor with hot glue. It worked fine with RPi on Raspbian. No changes were required, although you can change the display settings after booting to your desktop if you wish. The sound works well and if you want a traditional monochrome display you can use the monitor's menu to desaturate the colors and change the contrast. Add the HappyMac image as wallpaper and you're done. I can think of all sorts of projects for this, not even a standalone monitor for each application you need. For the price I expected a lot less. When the Mac 512K was new I wanted one but couldn't afford it. Years later I got one for free as obsolete "junk" and for less than a hundred dollars I have a machine in the same packaging that is vastly more useful than the original in the 1980's.
