Small Monitor - Very Versatile

I needed a small monitor to keep track of some old VHS tapes being dubbed to DVD. A very nice feature is that this device has many different inputs: HDMI, RCA (RGB), VGA, BNC. The picture was sharp and clear. I was looking for a device that had all 3 separate red, white and yellow for my RCA plugs as I find this gives a better picture than most devices that combine them into one input port for a jack. This device has a connector for each cable. I had to return a previous unit that had the combo

The perfect project monitor!

I bought this monitor because I needed a small monitor with an aspect ratio that would fit in an old Apple MacIntosh 512K case. I connected it to the Raspberry Pi. After removing the old CRT, motherboard, and drive, I was able to secure the monitor with hot glue. It worked fine with RPi on Raspbian. No changes were required, although you can change the display settings after booting to your desktop if you wish. The sound works well and if you want a traditional monochrome display you can use…

In the world of sheet-sized monitors, it's easy to overlook that small tasks sometimes require small monitors. It's not the primary monitor for a thousand-column spreadsheet or CAD modeling tool. It is ideal for passive surveillance, e.g. B. Status indicators for builds or porting to setup servers that spend most of their lives without a monitor. My favorite feature of the Eyoyo is that it has all the important video inputs. HDMI goes without saying. but it also decodes legacy analog inputs…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

I bought this monitor for my Raspberry Pi 3 to set up my system when no network connection is available. The screen is sharp, bright, and has decent viewing angles. The stand is high enough to prevent the HDMI cable from tipping over the screen. The on-screen controls are a little fiddly to use, but generally you don't need to fiddle with them. I played around a bit to get the right settings for this monitor; Out of the box, the Pi displayed a compressed image screen. Do not change the…

I have a PC and Macintosh that share a monitor and input devices through a KVM switch. I bought this small monitor as a secondary display on my Windows PC to show photo slideshows and iTunes song data while my Mac's desktop is on the main monitor. Eyoyo doesn't have much contrast. It's a bit dull and washed out even at extreme brightness and contrast settings, but that doesn't bother me for my intended use. I tried both VGA and HDMI and both worked immediately and flawlessly. It's definitely…
