Review on πŸ“» The ARCPT300W: American Red Cross Axis Safety Hub & Weather Radio with USB Cell Phone Charger by Crystal Gonzalez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good medium sized emergency radio and flashlight.

I have a small Eaton emergency radio with a flashlight. The axis would be what I call a good middle ground. The flashlight is larger, has a comfortable grip, and can be a steady light or a flashing red light. Unlike my smaller unit, it's battery operated and has a lighted digital clock radio. I like the digital feature because I don't have to retune (like the analog way) when I change bands to my favorite FM station. It has no presets, so it's best to save the station. The speaker sounds great too. $1.02 from the sale of each device goes to the Red Cross. with him, but it's good that he is. Makes a good table or bedside radio. When traveling outside of North America, the AM band changes in fixed 10kHz increments, as opposed to 9kHz for Europe, Asia and Africa. It doesn't work well abroad and unlike other digital radios, it's not possible to change this setting. The best advice is don't pack it for a trip abroad. As others have noted, it's not waterproof and I even warn about splash-proofing. So take it as is and you won't be disappointed.
