I bought the X52 years ago when Saitek still owned the product. Even then, it was poorly made junk that wore out too quickly. Since I wanted to play IL2 I decided to spend some money on a new stick. With few options available, I gritted my teeth and grabbed the X52 Pro, hoping that switching to Logitech would improve quality. no When delivered, the throttle is connected and works perfectly. However, the stick turns on fully, but does not respond. I did notice that the PS2 connector was difficult to connect between devices, but since the connector is all lit I didn't put much emphasis on that. Various troubleshooting efforts, including new drivers, did not help. I bet the problem is either with the PS2 cable or the flash drive connector. I could have bought a new cable, but it was a brand new $200 joystick - I didn't need to replace any parts right away. It doesn't look like it will last more than a couple of years of moderate use without breaking. I think I'll just go back to my 10 year old Logitech Wingman Digital from the days when Logitech made a great product. It's no frills but built like a tank and will never let you down.
