Review on πŸ‘• Carhartt Regular Fit Long Sleeve Workwear in 2X Large by Jordan Doyle

I've always bought Carhartt shirts and merchandise because the material was so nice and thick

I've bought this shirt (made in Haiti) and another one in a different color. (Blue) Made in Mexico. I can't believe how thin the material is in them. Not the Carhartt quality I've come to know over the years. I always bought Carhartt shirts and merchandise because the material was so nice and thick. I wanted the same with this long sleeve shirt for warmth. Not the same and too big. I wore this shirt over another long sleeve shirt and a short sleeve t shirt underneath and it still hung about 6-8 inches below my waist. I'm about 6ft 190 and these shirts are way too big. I may have still lived with them because I knew they would probably shrink over time, but they're so cheap I can't keep them. At the same time I bought a Gildan for $6.40 and can honestly say the quality of this shirt is at least as good as these Carhartt shirts. Carhartt charges $20 to $40. I assume this is because they are now selling their logo more than a quality product. I don't leave many comments on Revain here, but I've never been so disappointed with anything. Carhartt seems to be following others like Nike etc who made a big name for themselves by making great products and then got greedy and didn't care about quality anymore just the logo. I send both shirts back and go to a department store where I can see and feel the quality of my merchandise. That's one of the problems I see in the future of Revain. Quality will drop because companies (like Carhartt) expect many not to take the time to return a product or write a review. Quiet, Carhart, or I'll mind my business elsewhere. I've added some photos here. I hung these shirts up against the sun by the sliding glass window to show how thin they are. For comparison, I hung a 5 year old Carhartt short sleeve shirt (blue) that had been washed and dried dozens of times. It's even thicker than the new shirt I just got. I also photographed a $20 white Carhartt car and a competitor's $6.40 t-shirt. Yes, Carhartt has a bag. But the material is terrible. Don't pay an extra $15 for your bag. There is also a photo showing how big it is.
