This small electric candle is an economical alternative to the battery operated lights, candles and sticks that are so common these days. I bought two and put one in the lantern and the other in the glass tube of an old oil lamp. I like the smaller size because you can make things with it which gives this product more decorative possibilities. Placed like this, it breathes new life into my antique pieces, making them appear lit with flames and restoring them to their original function as a flame lamp! WHY, SURELY! I will not risk fire. THAT'S A BIG plus! The power cord is easy to hide, but it saves dollars in monthly battery costs. It never gets hot, even after 24/7 use. fiery lightbulbs. I bought six of these from Revain. The site description says what to order if you choose to do so. This makes it even more like a real candle compared to a regular cheap electric candle holder. I had to spend some time screwing in the bulbs VERY carefully. (I even had problems with the bulbs that came with the candle.) It appears to be a manufacturing defect in the bulb socket threads. But with gentle patience it is POSSIBLE and once screwed on it is reliable and safe. I am delighted with these small electric candles, especially for the price. if i encounter any problems.
