I bought this to provide ports for various external devices that I use with my MacBook Pro. Overall I was dissatisfied with this aspect of the MacBook as the keys seem to move with the slightest bump or pressure. I was hoping that two USB-C ports would solve this problem. This seems to be the case, although I've found that some of my external drives are automatically disabled. For example, I store photos on an external drive. I plug in a Mokin drive and it connects quickly to the Mac and I can get my work done. But when I come back after a while, I see the "Eject before disconnect" message on my screen, but I didn't do anything to disconnect the drive. It might be a minor annoyance, but it's an annoyance.
