Review on RilexAwhile Non Slip Adjustable Indoor Outdoor by Janice Wilson

Amazing for my older dog on the kitchen floor, ordered a second set!

Watching my elderly dog with dementia (15 year old, 15 lb Coton de Tulear - a family of Haveneese, Maltese and Bichons) push off the vinyl kitchen floor with almost no effort (well, for him). and walk confidently a few minutes after we put those socks on him. Tears welled up in my eyes. That's the best $10 I've spent in a long time. With no grip socks, he spread his front paws and could not get up to sit and then get up, and cried and moaned in frustration until we rescued him. and they put him on his feet (which are already not very stable). I have tried them on all dog socks despite some bad reviews. I thought he was tugging at his socks, trying to take them off, or refusing to walk around in them as other pet owners have reported. Luckily he understood her right away! I'm glad I went for this particular style of sock with a fully rubberized bottom rather than the fingerprint clasps which are for the inside only. He can even carry them on the pot in the wet grass. It took us two to put them on (he never liked having his feet touched, it's too late to change that now**). Taking socks off and putting them on just for the house would be too cumbersome for everyone. I ordered a large size and they fit his paws and claws well, not tight but definitely not loose or dangling. The size chart provided was very helpful. The sock feels thick but not overly thick and stretches slightly enough to slip your paw through and pull your foot up. The sock piece goes further up the leg than some of the other sock lists, making it easier to get the Velcro straps in place. I see where younger, more boisterous dogs might object to wearing grippy socks. He would certainly have done it in his youth. But to the old man they are a miracle now. We don't need to see or hear him wrestle on an uncarpeted floor. Some of his independence has returned to him! It doesn't affect the purchase decision, but they came in a thick, clear, zippered plastic envelope, not a cheap plastic bag or wrapper. It's reusable and great for storing socks or personal items. I have already ordered another set. **Update in a few days: Probably not a problem, but trim your nails as they can pierce your socks before you get your paws out. to the floor. Be careful not to get caught on dewdrops as well. He himself was able to put them on without much resistance, as if he knew that they were helping him. Mr. "Don't touch my feet" has been transformed!
