, I have had the key for a few weeks now and it is working as expected. Here's my experience so far: Good: - Bandwidth seems to work as advertised - HDMI works on a 2017 13" MBP with touchpad. Indeed, and no bandwidth. - Doesn't seem to heat up. Warms up as expected, but not hot. - It's not a million dollars - Great value and shipped quickly The first time I used the HDMI connector, the connector didn't seat all the way, but after reinstalling it a couple of times it worked as expected - it's just stuck The other ports I've used are the same. But I shouldn't deduct a star - I only know for first time use. Ugly: - It's plastic, although it seems to be solidly assembled. The plastic feels tight and relatively durable, but the case itself has a metallic feel beneath the outer plastic shell.
