I looked at a lot of different stands before buying this one. I use a laptop for work and work from home these days and I need to have the screen at eye level. The stand is very basic but works great: easy to assemble and take apart and holds my laptop in place well! This stand makes my new work from home so much better. Overall, I highly recommend using it as a portable laptop/tablet stand.
