Looks sturdy but bulkier/rougher than expected for a small dog with a very fine smooth coat

Item received and well made from quality materials. I didn't use it though and decided to go back. I wanted a comfortable color for my little dog that wouldn't rub against his almost hairless neck where the buckle would normally be. (I don't tighten the collar too much, she only has very thin straight hair on her neck and not much of it to protect against rubbing). just too bulky and had too many thick nylon ends and seams. I didn't think it would satisfy her need for comfort and protection for the delicate skin on her neck. In my opinion this would be a good collar for medium to long haired dogs or maybe larger dogs.
