I was blown away assembling this closet system and discovered that it had NO pre-drilled holes AT ALL. Also, the instructions are very minimal, it's literally a 3-step text document. INSTALLATION TAKES MORE THAN 3 STEPS! I ended up improvising with the instructions, of course I recommend following them first but don't expect them to work. I had to use an 11/64 drill bit for the holes in the rail and pilot holes in the wood posts. After drilling a hole in the rail I used a drill to insert the included screws into each whole to make sure they would go through. My external screws will not be flush. The easiest part of this whole system is to screw the shelf brackets to the shelf and then install the track. I'm 21 years old and have worked in retail and been assembling since I was 6 so it was tough but I made it. due to the unexpected lack of holes, it took 4.5 hours. If you don't think you can comfortably drill through metal like the instructions say, I'd go for something with a track system that's easier to install.
