I took this beautiful tree and fanned it up enough that I can decorate it in less than half an hour. This is a pre-lit tree with everything you need to make it look amazing! We all decorated it together. I have received many compliments - virtual ones - from teachers, coaches and friends. For what we got with this tree I would say it was worth it! All decorations are made of plastic and the base is very durable. We have two small dogs and two kittens who love hanging out under and on the tree. He stopped! There are two reasons this tree got 4 stars instead of 5. One of them is the lights. They look great and I'm glad they were pre-stressed. There is a spot on the tree where there is no light. I tried pulling some of the other branches but didn't want to risk breaking anything. Nothing bad. This place is hidden by many decorations, no trick. The second reason. When we connected our old Star Topper to the top, only the topper caught fire. The remaining lights on the tree go out. We would need to plug the topper into an extension cord and an outlet. Not that pretty so we went with the included topper. It doesn't glow, but still looks pretty.
