Just a quick note on the reviewer's comment that eSATA doesn't work. I'm also a Linux user and the problem is most likely not a defect in the Silverstone product (which I have and works great) but rather that a Fedora user mounted the new drive incorrectly. You need to go into the terminal and do some formatting and editing to make it work. I found it much easier to install and mount additional hard drives with Ubuntu than with Fedora. On Ubuntu I set them up using the Disk Utility GUI, but with Fedora you really need to look for practical advice in the threads on LinuxQuestions.org or other forums unless you're an experienced person and know you can do it yourself do. which probably wasn't done by a Fedora user. As for the power connections, you just have to make sure that the voltage and polarization of your device are compatible. (More tips on RTFM here.) Don't blame the hardware if you're too lazy to check the documentation that came with your hardware. would be a SATA power connector and b: a firewire cable is not as useful as a 6 pin header adapter plug since most firewire cards have a connector instead of a connector and not all motherboards have a 1394 USB 3 connector and the other two things I mentioned and maybe even add a 5.25" adapter and the Silverstone is perfect. Because it's closer than anything else I could find (like Ubuntu).
