I've had this orthosis for a few days now. I bought it to wear while I sleep. He stayed the first night. But on the 2nd and 3rd night, somewhere in the night, it slipped out of my hand. I give it 4 stars because it's very comfortable, the velcro holds very well and isolates my finger like it's supposed to. I believe it would have stayed on my hand if the design had been such that the strap wraps around the thumb, thereby securing it in place. If you don't plan on sleeping in it, you'll like it. I will not return it. Instead I will try to make a strap around the thumb.
