4 Down, 12 To Go - Standard Balls

I love this idea and was happy to personalize my golf balls without markers. IF they work, they work well. However, the first leaf I used had some trouble transferring the shamrock to the backing before you could cut it from the leaf to use. 4 out of 16 on the first blade I used had this problem. if my math is right, and that's because I used a calculator. That means about 1/4 of them were faulty. And if my calculation is correct (calculator again) it cost me about 80 cents. The first time this happened I thought I might have pushed the clover into the pad while cutting off another. So I took extra care NOT to do this with the rest and found 3 more that transferred to the white backing sheet before I could use them. I haven't used the second sheet yet, but I'm hoping for a better ratio of usable decals on this sheet. I'll let you know. In general, the ones that work work very well. I was surprised that the decal didn't have a noticeable "edge" and really became one with the ball. I'll do my best not to hit the transfer with my bat face, but I'm excited to see what happens if I do. I will continue this. Part II: The folks at GolfDotz got in touch with me right away and did everything they could to answer my issue: Some of the Dotz were ported to paper which made them unusable. I REALLY had this with another sticker on the second sheet. However, I ordered Club Precision Arrows because my putter play has been horrible. As for the stickers that stay on the ball during play, I was impressed with their durability. The only instances I have seen them suffer from play is when my ball has worn down and may have hit the cart track or rough terrain on the field. Improved my rating from 3 to 4 stars.
