Does not work as a lamp holder H9

I used these to connect a headlight conversion kit that required splitting the H4 harness into two H9s. Unfortunately, they don't actually fit in an H9 bulb - the H9 has two vertical protrusions in the center of the plug, one of which gets in the way of the body of this bulb. Modifying it to accept the H9 was easy enough, but if I had looked closely at the picture I would not have bought it, but instead ordered something that would fit perfectly.
