There are pros and cons (listed here). but i love this thing.

First of all I have to say I love this item. That should be for me. I've been dealing with an insane amount of fruit flies and common house flies lately and I don't understand where they're coming from. I've sealed the edges of the windows, covered the heater vents, made sure there weren't any holes in the walls, ceiling, floor, etc. I think they should come through the doors if I open them for a split second, but duh. Anyway, tons of flies and fruit flies. They kept flying around me while I was trying to work. I had an electric fly swatter that I used, but every 5 minutes I was distracted from work by pesky insects. Installed this thing on the kitchen island, turned it on and ZAP! Immediately started spotting bugs! After about 30 minutes 33 bugs were destroyed (I could count). I even took a photo of it (attached) 30 minutes later! Now I hear popping noises every now and then, but. No more pest problems! I haven't even seen a live bug in my house since I installed this thing. It's like they're headed straight for this case and nothing else, it's amazing! So I can concentrate on my work! Finally! I'll hang it up somewhere better later, but I wanted it to get rid of the bugs asap. PROS: - Apparently kills all the bugs I've had issues with - mainly fruit flies and flies. - Quiet when on (but loud when zapping bugs - see below). CONS - and I have to say these cons are nothing compared to the focus I can now achieve by working from home: - Noisy. When it clicks, the bugs EXPLODE - and you can definitely hear it. It's not insanely loud like 25% of a popped balloon is. But as said, you can definitely hear when an insect hits it. When bugs are killed, they sometimes explode (as mentioned above). send their parts everywhere. I suggest putting it on a hard surface that's easy to clean, as not all insects (and parts of them) get into the bowl. MOST bugs end up in the tray. In general I like it. I don't mind errors anymore :)
